Selective brain damage modulates human spirituality, research reveals

Hello fellow mutantes,

We at the FuckYourBrain trust have some good news for those of you concerned with personal evolution. The science behind the article linked below provides a vindication of Dr. Christopher S. Hyatt’s concept of deliberate brain damage. (Mentioned on track 5 of Techniques for Undoing Yourself Vol. 2, available from Original Falcon) Cultural consensus paints brain damage in an almost exclusively negative light. However, our own experiences with brain damage and reconstruction reveal something much more positive and profound.

Consider the implications of taking responsibility for “rewiring” your own brain, for making yourself more than human. Ask yourself, “Just what part of me has decided to make changes to this body and this brain I have at my disposal? Who is making the decisions? Who sought out this information, and for what purpose?”

What other implications could the study results have? Can you imagine ways to explore this for yourself?

Exploring the Mysteries of “Dark Energy” … Spooky…

Let us begin this dance into darkness with the idea of an expanding and contracting universe. I will leave it up to you to define the term “universe” for yourself.

Cosmos Magazine reported in the article, “Dark energy expands and contracts universe,”

"Mysterious energy: We may not know what it is, but dark energy is busy expanding and contracting our universe, researchers say."

“Mysterious dark energy works simultaneously to expand the universe and shrink objects inside it, astronomers have found.”

Einstein came up with the theory of cosmological constants as a theoretical way to counterbalance the observable gravitational forces in the universe. The Cosmos article further reported,

“Einstein hypothesised that a repulsive force in space could explain the universe’s equilibrium with the force of gravity. Without such a contrary force, gravity would cause the universe to implode, Einstein suggested.”

How was dark energy discovered scientifically?

By studying how gravity competes with the expansion of galaxy clusters, using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, “a crucial independent test of dark energy” has been found, said the researchers.

After years of research, scientists now believe that dark energy makes up about 70 percent of the universe, and is “a form of repulsive gravity that dominates the universe,” the researchers wrote, “although [we] have no clear picture of what it actually is.”

Ok, readers, leave a comment with your musings about what dark energy, that 70 percent of all and everything that “we have no clear picture of what it actually is.” Do think the science might have faults? If so, how does the force we know as gravity remain seemingly constant without any counterbalancing force? If the science holds true, what does the knowledge and study of dark energy have to offer? Does it relate metaphorically or literally to what some psychologists have termed, “the shadow?” Perhaps what we call the conscious mind represents, at best, 30% of the whole of our nature. In that case, what does the 70% consist of?

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Let’s move forward. What could the study of dark energy bring to us humans and aspiring post-humans?

For one, a dark energy propelled spaceship that travels faster than the speed of light.

Stay tuned for more updates on the exploration of the mysterious and spooky dark energy.

Bonus evolution points to anyone who suggests experiments by which a person may experience dark energy or a simulation thereof. Be creative!
